A Joining of Two Families | Songhees Wedding

First of all, I just need to start by mentioning how incredibly grateful I am every time I have the opportunity to be involved in a First Nations event. I am forever in awe of the incredible beauty, underlying calmness and deep traditions that exist within the people of the west coast, and every time I bear witness to these traditions I am deeply thankful.

Because of how some of these traditions work, I promised not to share any of the more cultural photos on social media, but here are a lot of the other photos from the incredible wedding of Stacey and Gord- joining two families and two deep coastal cultures together.

These two had 16 people on each side of their wedding party and a huge number of family and friends that came to celebrate with them. It was an incredible and beautiful day.

Venue: Songhees Wellness Centre

Second Shooter: My awesome husband, Logan
